These are the terms for joining the 1001 Things To Do waitlist (“1001 BLR”, “we”, “us”). By signing up, you agree to them. Keep them short, keep them honest.
What this is
A pre-launch waitlist for a Bengaluru lifestyle product. The first 1,001 members get a founding BLR badge when we launch. The product itself isn't live yet — what you're joining is a list with perks.
Who can join
You must be at least 13 years old and able to enter a binding agreement where you live (or have a parent/guardian's consent if required by local law). One real person per signup — no bots, no duplicates, no fake emails.
Your account
- Give us real information — name, email, optional phone.
- Keep your inbox accessible — we use one-time codes, no passwords.
- You're responsible for what happens under your signup. If something looks wrong, email us.
Referrals and badges
- Each member gets a referral code. Sharing it with friends moves you up the list.
- Badges (BLR OG, founding tier, etc.) are awarded based on position and referrals at launch. We may change the exact mechanic before launch and will let you know if we do.
- No buying, selling, swapping, or otherwise gaming positions or badges. We'll wipe accounts that try.
- Badges carry whatever perks we promise at launch. They have no monetary value.
Communications
By signing up you agree to receive transactional emails (verification, waitlist updates, launch news). Marketing-style emails always include a one-click unsubscribe. If you opt in to WhatsApp, you can opt out any time by replying STOP.
What you can't do
- Use the site to break any law.
- Scrape, mass-signup, or run bots.
- Try to break, probe, or reverse engineer the platform.
- Impersonate someone else.
- Abuse the referral system with fake accounts.
Our stuff
The 1001 Things To Do name, the red envelope mark, the site design, and the copy are ours. Don't copy them. You keep ownership of anything you submit to us, but you grant us a licence to use it as needed to run the waitlist.
Closing your account
You can ask us to delete your account any time by emailing . We'll process it within 30 days. We can also close accounts that break these terms.
As-is, no warranties
The waitlist is provided as-is. Things may break, change, or be paused while we build. We don't guarantee a specific launch date, a specific badge, or that referrals will always count exactly the same way.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top and let you know. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
