## What it is

1001 Things To Do is a launching-soon city-discovery app for Bengaluru.
Pre-launch, users join a waitlist via email OTP. The first 1,001 people
get a 3-day early window to claim a numbered BLR badge (Gold for #001–101,
Standard for #102–1001) before the public launch.

## Mechanics

- Signup via email + 6-digit code (Supabase Auth + Resend)
- Position is locked at signup time (Postgres SEQUENCE, immutable)
- Referrals boost effective rank: position - spotsFor(referral_count)
- Live rank shown alongside the badge number
- WhatsApp opt-in for launch reminders
